Support your neighbors, support your community and SAVE MONEY by shopping locally.

Ingredients, materials and supplies can be obtained cheaply all over – you just have to look!

Baskets, household items (like mugs and vases), scarves (great for scrap fabric) and belts (great for decorative trim) can all be found at Community Closet Thrift Store (located across from Rite-Aid.)

Fabric scraps can be found at Country Heart Quilts on Tenney Mountain Hwy.

Skeins of yarn for socks or other small knitting projects can be found at Inspire 2 Knit and Tea. Perfect to keep you cozy on cold New England days!

Used books and other small gift items can be found at the Book Readery. Gently used, but great for a student on a budget. Most items are usually in great condition, too. Or support the Pease Public Library and purchase one of the books from their ongoing book sale!

Many different kinds of bulk herbs, teas, and potpourri can be found at Peppercorns for relatively low prices.

For general items and food supplies, try The Dollar Store, WAL*MART, Hannaford and Rite Aid.

Plus, check for discount or dollar bins at all of the above stores. You may be surprised at the treasures you'll find! And save on all the little "extras" too!
